Well I am sitting in the ER of yet another hospital. Nathaniel isn’t gaining anywhere near 1 oz a day and we are at the point where he really should be admitted. We are trying to figure out the logistics of this. All preliminary blood work is normal so they need to see how he eats for themselves.
This stinks!!

Oh that stinks majorly. So sorry to hear it but hopefully they’ll figure out what’s going on with him and get his little body growing. I’ll keep praying and thinking about you guys!
We were in the same boat with our recent baby. After 6 weeks of little gain we had to switch to formula. Even then she still didn’t gaine a huge amount. At almost 10 months old she is just reached 16 pounds and is at the 2% mark for weight and height on the growth charts. We have realized that sometimes some babies just grow at different rates for whatever reasons. My concern would be (as was my doctors at every moment) is he. Pooping and peeing. Is he alert. Is he reaching milestones. Is he growing faster then he is gaining?

Sorry mama! I hope that he turns the corner for you super fast. I’ve had two FFT kiddos who are super healthy happy kids now – it just takes times sometimes to sort things out. Prayers!
awwwh poor little one… that happened to us too (i think i commented) … no reason ever found. Superfrustrating… up until today (she’s 4), she’s still skinny (but tall) … oh well, hopefully you do’nt have to stay too long !!!!
