Goodbye Emily!

What more could be said? I can’t believe it has been 4 years since you were here.

Edited to add:

I took some more photos. I also included Petunia the pig. See this post. Tell me what you like best.

    HiJennifer, Tony and Max,

Just want you to know that I am thinking about you and Emily today.

    Take care, Rowena

  2. Jennifer,
My name is Melanie and I have been reading your blog since before Max was conceived…never commented before because I never had a Google account…I just wanted you to know I wish you were STILL blogging about your Emily and her Petunia Pig and that she was here playing with her little brother Maximillian. I know that others tend to forget about your other babies because you have Max but for you and Tony you will never get over the ache that is deep in your soul…you simply learn to live WITH the pain, not get over it. It will be 10 years this March since we had our miscarriage at 12 weeks and I know it was only 12 weeks, but the pain of losing that baby was one that I hope to never have to experience again. I have three children now…11 yrs, 8 yrs and 7 yrs, 2 boys and 1 girl and they are the lights of my life! I so enjoy reading your posts about Max and “larry” and your lives…your honesty and unapologetic way that you post is refreshing and I know if we lived closer and knew each other IRL we would be best of friends! Thank you for sharing your lives with us…I look forward to watching Max continue to grow, he is such an intelligent little boy, a true reflection of you and Tony! AND I can’t wait to see the miracles that are in the future for you!! Sincerely, Melanie Whitaker

ps. I am a peds Nurse and peds oncology nurse so I understood everything you wrote about your cancer journey all too well and am so glad things went well! I will cont. to pray for good health!!
