Sewing…

Well I got all of Max’s PJ’s (minus one pair of pants) done but I have to wait till he wakes up to measure the elastic against him. I did take photo’s this morning of one set that is completely done and his robe.

I think Max wants to be a chef. He loves helping out in the kitchen (even making Daddy do dishes earlier then he normally would) and today I turned on the TV while we had lunch. I was watching a cooking program and Max clearly thought it was interesting! So maybe Max will be a chef.

Anyway when Max wakes up I will spend 20 minutes finishing up his PJ’s and get some photos of them. Then I will post the photos on this post tonight. I have also made a carseat Poncho so I will photograph that and post it too!

I am doing okay since my scan. I thought I would be more anxious now but I really am doing a good job of keeping my mind off things. So that is good. Only a week left till I know something. I will post from my phone that day since my day is very busy. I likely will not get home till 5 or later and I have to make dinner then we will go to Fenway’s school that night. So busy busy!

Talk to you later!
Jennifer

Max’s coat (car seat poncho)…

I used magnets in the “arms” so that it would close on cold days. This is the magnet sewn in.

This is the sleeve. It is only used when we are not in the car. Once we get to the car his arm comes out.

The PJ’s that I made for him about a month ago… (interlock and fleece)

His robe… (fleece)

These are his new PJ’s  (cotton flannel)

These are the same just in different prints… (cotton flannel)

These I have yet to sew the pants together. Once I do that they will be done.  (interlock and fleece)

I haven’t posted in a while, but do follow your blog. I’m in love with the monkey pj’s you made for Max. Have you considered selling them on the Internet, such as on etsy.com? If time were an issue, which I suspect would be the case as you have a busy life, then you could have as little auctions/items to sell as you could handle. I’ve only recently found etsy and purchased two custom bathrobes (the hooded towel kind) for my 9-month old daughter. I am addicted to etsy now. There is just so much hand-crafted stuff out there!

I love the pjs you made. Great job! I’m sure you could start your own home business selling some of the things you have made. I think the car poncho would be great too. That is a very clever idea! Think I may have to copy that for my grandchildren!

    Have a wonderful week. Rowena
