Biopsy today

I am done with the biopsy. It went well. I was mildly sedated and felt like I was in and out of conciousness when the procedure was happening. I remember bits of it but not much of it. So that is good. I had a dream during this time that I was following a little girl around the house walking (much like I am doing with Max now). So maybe that means that I will finally get to bring home a little girl when this is all over.

I am not in any pain, and I am not on any pain medications. They told me that if I have any severe pain that I should go to the ER because it could mean that I am hemerging. So no pain is good. I am tender there but that is about it.

They told me they got enough cells and that some of them are going to a national lab and some are going to just be looked at under a microscope. So my doctor should have the all the results in 10 days. My consult with her is on the 4th so that is good.

Max did well with daddy today. Though I guess he cried when he realized I wasn’t around. I have been able to find a “game” that I can play with him that makes him laugh and laugh. So that has been good for the whole family to relieve some stress.

Thank you for all the prayers. I know they are helping me.

I did get a call from my RE last night. He wants me to keep him updated on the progress of the oncologist. I thought that was great that he is keeping tabs on me.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving (provided you celebrate the US Thanksgiving)!

Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,

Have been out of town since last Tuesday so am just now checking in on your blog.

I’m glad your biopsy is behind you and the 4th will come soon. Praying for good news!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving at Mammoth Lakes, a ski/summer resort area. There was very little snow on the mountain when we arrived but it started snowing Friday afternoon and didn’t quit until late Sat. afternoon. It was beautiful!! There are some very happy ski resort people now with so much fresh powder.

    Now on to Christmas!

    Take care, Rowena
