I just heard from my mother. Grandpa’s procedure today didn’t go as well as we hoped. Grandpa does have cancer (pancreatic) and they are keeping him in the hospital for at least 24 hours because he needs a second stint put in for his liver. His first stint was put in last Friday.
My understanding is that Grandpa isn’t doing well emotionally. I guess he really doesn’t want to go to an oncologist and the gastrointologist thinks that Grandpa isn’t a good canidate for surgery (based on his age). So we really don’t know the scope of this till someone is able to talk him into the surgery.
I guess right now they are overwhelmed with visitors. However that is bound to subside. My mom was planning on coming up to see me in October and then go out there in November. I told her to see if she could switch her tickets to do the opposite. Hopefully the airline will allow her to do so.
In other news I am doing well and Max is preparing for his arrival tomorrow… though honestly I don’t think he knows what is coming. Haha!

My prayers are with Granpa. I have not seen him or Granma for years but I hope all is ok with him. Tell them hello from me. Tell Tony he needs to post on her after Max is born. I am really going to need to know what is going on. Or if you talk to your Dad tell him to call me.

So sorry to hear your grandpa is not doing well. I imagine he is in shock over the cancer news. Hopefully there will be some good treatment for him and that he will feel better emotionally. I will be praying for him.

I am a little late wishing you luck for the big arrival, as I am sure by now little Max has already made his first debut!! I am so excited for you guys!! You have been through alot the past couple of years. I have followed your site on and off over the past 2 years, and have prayed for this day.
