Quick update…

Well the closing on the house went well. We went there last night after the closing and Tony did his best to clean up but the house is VERY dirty from the prior owner. It was a bachelor that was living there with 3 dogs… for all the women out there you can just imagine the state of the house. Tony asked me last night when it wouldn’t smell like dogs anymore. I couldn’t really answer him. We also realized that there is a lot painting that needs to be done. Almost every room needs it and that includes the closets. The old owner, who moved 2 houses down, should get a surprise with some of the changes that are in store for the house. By the way, does anyone know how to level off a yard that has more waves then the ocean? It was rock hard and almost hard to walk in with all the waves (I don’t think it was from rocks either). Any suggestions for that would be great!

Today we are getting the moving van around 7 am and then we are going to have people come here to help us move around 9 am. I may come back here around noon because I saw a diaper that Max must have. Ha ha!

Anyway I will take pictures and things during this interum 2 weeks. I also will update at least once (more then likely more then that) inbetween then and now.

Max is doing well and kicked me a few times during the closing to make his presence known. We were both up late last night and hope that today will be a bit better as far as that is concerned.

Talk to you later!

    Jennifer,

We have a lot of rock under our grass around here. People generally get a truckload of dirt delivered to their house and dumped on the lawn and then just rake it out to fill in the holes. The grass (and weeds!) come back through the dirt. If the lawn is really bad, Scotts Lawn Service for a year will get it in shape.

Wow, too bad about the dirty house. The least the seller could have done was have it cleaned before you moved in. Did he know that you are VERY pregnant? I think it should be included in the escrow instructions that a house should be left clean by the seller. It’s just not fair when there is already so much else to do. Oh well, I guess you have to deal with it. Sorry!

Hope the move went well. Glad to hear you had some good helpers. Looking forward to the next pictures.
