Here is Max!

He is a big boy weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces (roughly 2012 grams) already! He is at the top edge of normal for this area (using figures from this area to compare him). The doctor expect him, even with his 2 week early arrival, to be around 8 pounds at birth. So much for us worrying about him fitting into his car seat! Ha Ha! He is now head up also. Though that could change… though it really doesn’t matter considering how he is going to be born.

The measurement of his head showed he is measuring 2 weeks ahead on that, his body is mearly 1 week ahead. The doctor said all is looking well and he is expecting this pregnancy to go to a good conclusion! Also it looks like I shouldn’t worry about Max coming anytime soon as my cervix is still closed.

Max is getting the hiccups at least once a day now. Sometimes they just happen though yesterday Tony was able to scare them into him. He made a “fog horn” sound on my belly and shortly thereafter Max had the hiccups. They normally last for about 5 minutes with him and he takes them very well. I think I would be getting mad most of the time that they occur but they don’t seem to bother him that much.

Max is clearly curious about his surroundings. I often find him doing motions that feel like he is just feeling the edges of his world (sack). I think he is like his big sister though sometimes with this in that when he feels that mommy is in the car, he really doesn’t like feeling that seat belt! More often then not he finds it and spends a good bit of time trying to beat the seat belt into submission!

I have an OB appointment on Monday and a nutritionist appointment tomorrow. So we are in for a few busy days here. I will try to get a picture of myself taken sometime in here.
