Periwinkle, Refreshing, Spoon

There are 3 words that shouldn’t go together. Maybe “Under a periwinkle sky the maiden used a spoon to stir sugar in her refreshing iced tea.” There I did it. But I am sure I couldn’t do it again!

So Periwinkle. This is actually one of my favorite colors… sadly it isn’t around much right now. I used to have a car this color but Sally died in 2018. This is the best I can do.

Refreshing – This is some basil that had fallen off of the main plant after we purchased it. I decided to put it in some water and surprisingly it started to root. Now it is in a cinnamon container. It works. I added some of Max’s hydroponic food to the water so hopefully it will be happy and perk up soon.
Spoon – This one seemed silly to me but simple enough to take a photo of. We got a set of utensils for our kitchen because Tony keeps breaking our old ones trying to use them for practicing his sward techniques while cooking. These are made from Teak. This is a small ladle (more like a gravy spoon.

These next photos are ones I just took in the last few days.

  • We got a box of fruit from The Fruit Guys. This is part of our bounty.
  • Our Azalea is starting to bloom.

I am hoping to finish my PJ’s today so hopefully I can post them tomorrow. I did take one other photo today but it was video of our foster child spinning on her sit spin. She just kept spinning and spinning! How much fun it is to be 4!
