Today we woke up and it was snowing. It was more or less a dusting when we got up. It didn’t let up though. It kept snowing. Well we realized that Tony needed to go for a run in the morning, so we got up and the boys and I went to the Y with him. The boys and I went speed walking (they were running) around the track. We went 1.5 miles! Tony went to a treadmill and went running for 3 miles. Yeah a bit of a difference but hey, everyone did SOMETHING so that is good! Tony doesn’t want to run tomorrow so I don’t think we will go without him. Maybe Monday.
We came home and had breakfast (albeit late) and did somethings. At noon we had lunch and got ready to go to the CPR class. After the sitter arrived we went up there. The roads were not awful once we got on the highway. So that was good. We got up there and there was a parking garage with a clearance of 5 foot 7 inches! Seriously, who designed that? We were able to find another spot for the van, but then we walked through that entrance and both Tony and I felt like we needed to duck when we were exiting the parking garage when we walked through it.
The class went well. They didn’t hand us a certificate or anything though. We have to wait and it will be emailed to us. Odd! We came home, did some cleaning, made an amazing bean and ham soup (just 15 bean dried soup mix, a package of onion soup mix, water and chopped up ham) and ate dinner. Oh and we played a game that the boys got for Christmas. It is called Tenzi. I have seen these in all sorts of places and I looked it up. It is a simple game played with 10 dice. Each player has their own dice and you try to do different things with them. There are several variations of this game. So we had fun playing a few of them. I got a package of 10 sets of ten generic dice and a card set that has different variations of the game that you can play. So that was fun!
A fairly basic day, albeit tiring. Tomorrow will be nice to celebrate the coming of 2018.
Tony did take photos of the snow today but I am too tired to get up and upload them right now. I will try to do so tomorrow!
