The best of plans…

Last week I said I would be back the next day, well here I am a week later. Sometimes time just gets away from me!

This video of Nathaniel falling asleep. He seems to like to take his nap at 11:30 when we eat at noon. So you can see how this is a problem. I guess this day it caught up with him.

This last weekend we had an action packed weekend. We went to the home depot kids workshop, Barnes and Nobel teacher discount sale (good for homeschoolers), church bazaar, and german caroling all on Saturday. The caroling included us trying Gluhwein which is a mulled wine. It was tasty even though I don’t drink.

Sunday we had church and then went to a restaurant for our 11th anniversary (anniversary was on Saturday). We had fun as did the boys. Nathaniel can really put away the food if he wants to! The afternoon was spent watching football!

We have decided that we will be doing a 21 day sugar detox starting on January 5. This isn’t because we need to loose weight (I don’t, Tony does), but because I want to see if sugar is playing a bigger role in our moods (mine and the children’s) then I realize. I hope to write about my experiences as we go through it. If you would like to know more about this you can find out information here: http://21daysugardetox.com

We will be doing level 3 as a family with the boys and I on the energy modifications (eating more sweet potato everyday). Level 3 is the strictest but we are already Paleo so that is why. She has 3 levels with modifications for energy needs, Autoimmune protocol, and pescetarian eating. She also has meal plans and everything you need to do this. I feel like we will be in good hands!

I hope that someone else will join us on this. I would love to have a small community. πŸ™‚

Well I have sewing to do (we lost Max’s stocking and never got one for Nathaniel) and school work to do. So hopefully I will be back soon. I need to post our christmas tree and our wonderful tree topper that we made. πŸ™‚
