Eating…

Well here I am and I am updating again so soon! Yay!!

I have some video but for some reason it doesn’t want to upload to the computer right now. Not sure why so I will try again later.

No this isn't how Nathaniel normally eats. I gave him egg on a plate and then put the plate on the stool thinking he would move around while eating (he normally likes this), however he quickly took the egg off the plate and put it on the floor (thankfully Fenway was not allowed in the kitchen at this point). I figured it built his immune system a bit. However I will not make this a habit!

Okay I thought it would be fun to show photos of our meals now that we started Emeals. Again I don’t get anything from this other then the satisfaction of doing it. Yesterday we went to 4 stores (unfortunately normal for us) and ended up spending about $200 on food. My goal was around $130 so I went over budget. However after looking at the “splurge” items I realized that for the way we eat, this isn’t realistic even if we didn’t “splurge” so we will have to figure that out.

Today was our first day of eating from our plan.

Breakfast:

Sweet Potato smoothie. It was thick so I had mine with a spoon. You can see that I tried to give Nathaniel his in a cup... didn't work so great.

So then I put his in a pouch and it worked much better!

The smoothie was very filling and Max, Nathaniel and I didn’t finish ours. I figure it will make for a good afternoon snack as we all seem to get hungry then. The portion was good for our family of 4, so if you have a hungrier family then ours, you may have to adjust accordingly.

Will write back with lunch and maybe video of Nathaniel (on the camera now) and Max (swimming class this afternoon).
