Sorry for the lack of posts, but…

Those State Farm commercials freaked me out about posting travel details online! So I just figured everyone would figure I just got busy if I said nothing.

We went to Florida for a week to see my mother, step father and for a short time one of my step brothers. It was hot down there, so I am not sure we will go again in July, but we had lots of fun!

These are the photos I took. Most are self explanatory.

When we got down there, Max wouldn’t go into the pool without a life jacket. This was on the last full day in Florida. Clearly he got better with time.

Nathaniel took to swimming like a fish to water. These were all on the first day in the pool.

And Max in the water on the last day.

We are planning on putting the boys in swim classes now. I think they can both use them, but I will be the one taking Nathaniel in as Tony freaked out a lot every time Nathaniel was in the water!

We also saw manatee’s in my mom’s back yard on our last day. This video is 6 minutes long but I think it shows them well.

And here are the photos Tony took:

Okay now a word about Christmas this year.

I know it is early but I figured I should say something now before gifts are got. So this is really a message for grandparents. We have noticed that there is no such thing anymore as a gift for Nathaniel or a gift for Max. They really end up a gift for both of them, though there are exceptions (gifts for Max we can keep from Nathaniel on rare occasions). So Tony and I are going to get the boys a play kitchen this year. This can be for both of them and they can have fun together. I know of a co-op on Melissa and Doug toys that will start the day after tomorrow. The co-op is for 50% off most of the toys on Melissa and Doug’s website (the retail price, not sale price – contact me if you wish to know the exceptions) plus shipping here. I hope to take advantage of this and get stuff for them. If you would like to add to this, let me know. I imagine the co-op will run for at least a week (August 8).

However in any case, please do not get the boys anything with any stickers on them. Max will just take them off and make a huge mess in the process. Thank you!
