This week we were busy as usual. Nathaniel finally started getting heavier and I am convinced that while some children that are as small as him are in trouble, my little boy isn’t one of them. He tried walking to me while Tony was holding onto him with just one hand. His balance isn’t there yet but his strength certainly is! I am also shocked by how far away he can see. I always thought that babies can see maybe 2-3 feet well enough to make out a face. Not Nathaniel, he can see at least as far as a queen size bed is long! He has great eyesight (and therefore doesn’t take after Tony!).
In other news I have been searching the internet to find more recipes for us to try. I posted the ones that I have made on Pinterest. I have like them all as has Max. Tony has mixed reviews. I am starting to learn replacements for dairy and even things like soy sauce. So I have to try those as well!
Yesterday was Tony and mine 10th wedding anniversary. Hard to believe it has been that long. At times it feels longer, other times it seems like it was yesterday. The last 7 years have taken their toll but I hope that the next 10 years are much less eventful… unless it is a move overseas, I am always up for that!
I have a prayer request. My mother-in-law’s friend granddaughter (who was born in August) was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The baby is currently in Washington State but will be life flighted to the east coast soon. I am sure the family will be appreciative of any prayers anyone can spare.
Finally tomorrow we are suppose to start getting the weather that has gripped the rest of the country for the last few days. I will try to update the blog after church to let you all know how we are doing. They are not expecting much in the way of this storm but you never know.
