Look who is the big boy now!

He is now up to 7 lbs 14 oz. So everyone is happy about that. I imagine he will be catching up to what Max was at the same time here soon. Maybe I should just take out Max’s old growth charts and follow them. Ha ha!

We are doing well. I am on a medication to increase my milk and we are half way to where we need to be! YAY!! Nathaniel was taking 12 oz a day of formula and now he is taking 6 oz. I am upping my dose and hopefully he will be taking straight mama milk soon. My goal is that I will be able to wean myself from this medication after my body thinks that this is what it needs to do.

The soy free/dairy free diet hasn’t been that bad. Trader Joes has many products that I can eat including coconut milk ice cream and yogurt. Whole Foods has better selection though of these products and also has a “butter”. Normal grocery stores don’t really help me much. The hardest part I have found is I am not eating chocolate like I like. Milk chocolate has milk in it, so I need to have alternative sources for my chocolate fix.

I am starting to think that Max also had/has this milk protein allergy. We always thought it was a pasteurized dairy allergy (intolerance really) but this makes sense. Clearly it is just something with my boys.

Nathaniel had a doctor appointment today along with some blood tests. I think those will come back normal. He doesn’t need to go back again till Max’s well visit appointment near Max’s birthday! That means that in 2 weeks we will have a week free of doctor’s appointments!!! Never thought I would see this day!

Nathaniel looks like Emily here. Though I can clearly see it is Nathaniel too.

These last 3 photos really remind me of Nathaniel’s typical look right now.
