I had my mid week check of my blood pressure today. It was lower then it was last week so I guess I don’t have to worry about pre-eclampsia. YAY! One less thing. At this point I can’t deliver any earlier then I already am anyway. The next time slot for my OB is Thursday. I am sure if there was an emergency I could deliver before then, but baring that, I am stuck!
I also found out that my echo was normal except for a heart condition that is normally present with pregnant woman. So my heart looks normal for a pregnant woman. Who knew that the heart could get “pregnant”. I guess it has to do with the blood volume that happens in pregnancy so my valves don’t close 100% correctly. It should go away after I deliver.
Nathaniel is doing well. He is sleeping today which I don’t mind as that means he is growing! He has been moving around enough for me to know he is there, but not enough for me to not be a bit on edge with him. Yeah this kid has it all!
Max had lots of fun at VBS this week. However I must admit, for a kid born of 2 parents that met ballroom dancing, he really doesn’t like dancing! I was watching him today and EVERYONE in one of the rooms was dancing to a song, and he was just standing there! I asked him about it later and he said he liked to just stand and watch. Not sure what that is about but I want my kid to like dancing as it was such a big part of my life!
This is our last weekend to be a parent of just one big boy. We plan on spending it cleaning, doing a bit of cooking, and I have a bit of sewing to do too. We also have to go grocery shopping this weekend for the next 2 weeks. Though with us mainly out of the house for about 4 days this next week, that shouldn’t be that bad.
Monday I have another doctor appointment. This should finalize everything with the c-section. I am not expecting anything earth shattering but I found out today that they don’t have a copy of my living will in the system so I might need to bring that that day. Hopefully it will be placed in the right spot this time. I also need to bring my birth plan… or goals for after and before birth.
Tuesday we have to pick up the farm share. I am expecting to be cooking a fair bit this day too.
Wednesday I have to go in for the “type and screen” blood test at the hospital so they can have my “special blood” on standby for the next day. I will also get my mother and step father from the airport this day.
Thursday we get to meet our 4th little boy! My plan is to update here a few times before and after delivery. I will have Tony keep my phone and we will try to upload photos ASAP after the birth, well baby or not. I know with Max the blog wasn’t updated for a few days, however with modern devices (amazing what 5 years can do!) we can have it updated several times a day.
This is all I have thought out so far. Pretty much the way I am looking at it I have Pre-Nathaniel and Post-Nathaniel and except for a few FAR off doctor’s appointments, there is nothing post-Nathaniel yet. So it is his world for a while.
