Well Nathaniel may be bigger, but I am not! Ha Ha!
I am still 42.75 inches around. I feel bigger but I guess I am not. I guess it stands to reason that I can’t just keep getting bigger and bigger around. Though I do have 4 weeks left now so maybe I will cross into 43 inches before I deliver.
Today I found out that I have to have more testing done for my c-section. Yes I only have 4 weeks left, I get to see my OB every week. I have a dentist appointment and a port flush next week, and I have to fit in more testing! Glad Max’s school work will be done tomorrow so I can focus on getting ready for Nathaniel both inside and out!
I found out I have to have an EKG and probably an echo done and get cleared for the acrobats that they make may heart go through in the c-section. Didn’t know they did that much but it sort of makes sense. I mean they cut into a muscle that is basically filled with blood and they need to make sure I don’t bleed out from it. So they lower my blood pressure in the c-section to make it so the uterus springs back down to size and sew me up. I get it.
So I will be going to get that done on July 5. That was suppose to be the next ultrasound. So I called them today and I will now get that done on July 2 (which I have to see my OB in the morning of). I will then see the peri that delivered the triplets and who calmed me down after Max went into the NICU (and I felt like I would always have a NICU baby… if I only knew then what I know now!).
I will also have to get some blood tests the day before my c-section (thankfully I have to go near there anyway as that is where the airport is and my mom and step father will be here for the delivery to help with Max). They need to test for my liver and kidney function no more then 3 days before I deliver. I can’t imagine I will not pass all of these tests but hey, they have to do what they have to do!
So I have a busy few weeks between now and when Nathaniel comes. It should be fun though!
