Well first thing first. This is a photo of how I am making the egg, all weather! On Friday I wanted to cook some salmon out on the egg and as soon as I got it lit, it started to rain! Well then I remembered my beach umbrella. So I got it out of the shed and it fit in a little grove in the wood perfectly! I was able to be dry and work on the grill! No the umbrella wasn’t touching any of the grill either so that was good too! Best of all it all goes back in the shed and we are none the wiser after the storm passes!
Last night we decided to do pizza on the grill. I can’t believe how hot that thing gets! The pizza was very good and had the cornmeal on the bottom like how I remember pizzas as a kid. All the pizzas around here have flour on the bottom, not cornmeal.
While we were cooking out last night it got to be dusk. Yeah we eat late some (most) nights. Max thought that the clouds looked cool in their pink glow. So I had to take a photo of it with the moon (which Max said was “dusty” because of the clouds).
Today we are waiting around for the plumber to come and clean out a U bend we have in the sewer line that goes out of the house. We have known this problem for a while but last night our sewer line stopped completely so we need to get this fix soon. In the meanwhile we trying to not let anything go down the drain. I had planned on letting Max not nap today as the plumber is coming this afternoon. Max had other ideas though. So here he is now.
