Nathaniel at 32 weeks 1 day…

Well here he is. He still has his feet by his head. I think he will love this position when he comes out! They assured me that he isn’t stuck. He is now transverse or across my belly. He is measuring 32 weeks 3 days but he weighs 3 lbs 10 oz. So he is a bit smaller then I thought he would be. Ultrasounds can be off so I am trying not to read too much into it. Maybe I just need to eat more to bulk him up! He seems fine (other then loving his toes) and was very active in the ultrasound.

While I was there I asked my peri about what I can do to help his lungs. Giving birth at 38 weeks after having a child in the NICU at that point for 6 days is scary enough! I REALLY want a well baby this time. My peri has agreed to give me the steroid injections next week. This should help Nathaniel when he is born at 38 weeks. These are the same injections that I got a few days before the triplets were born that helped both Alexander and Emily so much. I am sure we would have lost Emily a lot sooner had I not had them when I did.

My peri was also able to look up the results of the MRI from yesterday. I am unremarkable, or still in remission. Any lymph nodes that were noted, were the same size as the CT portion of the PET/CT in October (my last scan before pregnancy). They were able to see Nathaniel as well and he was unremarkable as well. I am hoping that later I can get a photograph of him from this MRI. I am sure that would be in 3D if I was able to get a copy of it.

Later I got a call that they have officially scheduled my C-section for July 18. So that is good news. I will likely be giving birth to Nathaniel about the same time of day that Max was born. So they will have that in common. I hope, that is the only thing about their birth they have in common!

We are getting the effects of Tropical Storm Andrea right now. Rain is none stop, which isn’t fun considering I don’t really have a rain coat at the moment. Luckily I am done going out now. I am not that worried about flooding but I am sure the rest of the state is.
