Snow a bargin!

Here are some photos from our drive down. As you can tell, not much stuck to the roads, but a lot to the trees. Now it isn’t even really in the trees. I think I went down in the worst of it. Bummer!

Nathaniel is doing well. Heart rate was in the 140’s. He was having a party in there! Doctor said I was measuring 22 weeks (was she saying I am fat??), I am 21 weeks 4 days. I guess I am destined to have another big baby!

I was able to get in and out of there so quickly that I saved $5 on parking! Love that!!

On the way back I stopped at the baby store. I thought I would see if I could get a diaper bag as I had a 20% off coupon that didn’t exclude it. I didn’t think they had the diaper bag as I had looked online and it said they didn’t. However I got out of the doctor quickly so I figured it was worth a “look see”.

To my shock I got down there and it was there! While I was standing there with Max debating on if I should get it or not, I looked at the price tag. It was missed marked! This bag normally sells for $165 however it was marked at $119. It is a new color so I knew it wasn’t a markdown, trying to get rid of old stuff, type of thing. I also had the 20% off coupon.

I get up to the sales counter and I am waiting for the cashier. They have this product on the wall that is the ODDEST thing I have ever seen in a baby store. It said in big letters GRASS on it and looked like something that you would put out for your dog to pittle on, only smaller. Here I found it online so you can all wonder with me.  I ask if they are selling dog stuff in the store and she assures me they are not. I guess it is a drying rack for bottles. Why you would want to put your bottles on something that looks like grass is beyond me but I guess it takes all kinds!

The diaper bag is scanned and it is $165. I mention to the lady that that isn’t what it was marked and show her. She quickly fixes it and logs it in some book. She then scans the coupon and with tax this bag is only $102! I can’t believe I got this bag for that little!

So here is the bag. There is green in the white lines if it doesn’t show up. It is like a pin stripe green line.

Mommy pocket (maybe I can share with Max, but I am not sure).

This pocket I never saw in the video of this bag. It is on the front and looks like it would be good for small toys or something like that. Maybe even cloth wipes.

Bottle holder and shoulder strap (nicely padded! I am not as young as I used to be!). The bottle pocket is big enough to hold my big Sigg water bottle. So I guess this would be good for Max and me (one on each side). Oh the shoulder strap is removable.

Back pack straps (also removable, and with padding!)

And just for fun, the 3 diapers that I have finished already (no I didn’t plan for them to match but it is sort of cool that they do!).

Clearly we should have plenty of room in this for all the things I need for Nathaniel. Best of all this whole thing zips closed so I don’t have to worry about it spilling out with sudden stops in the car (yeah that never happens in Jersey where we have sudden stops on the road! Ha ha!).
