First, someone asked me what color of Ju-Ju-Be bag I was looking at. I am looking at Royal Envy. I tried to see if I could copy the photo to this blog but I couldn’t figure out how to do it. However it is royal blue with white circles on it and lime green trim/interior.
Secondly, this is part of my fabric order I received today. I hope to make a few diapers and maybe an outfit or 2 for Nathaniel out of it. Max LOVES the fish pattern but he is a LOT bigger then a newborn so I am not sure what I will do for him. Maybe I will take scraps from all of the diapers I do and make a knit quilt for him or something so he doesn’t feel left out. I also got a big box of cotton velour that I plan on turning into diapers, hooded towels, and maybe even some washcloths.
Finally, today is the 10th anniversary of Tony’s and mine first date. It really didn’t start out that way (as is normally the case). I just wanted to go to the City (New York) to go dancing and didn’t feel like going alone. So I called up Tony and asked if he would meet me there (as he lived no where near me). He agreed and to my surprise, he wasn’t the other guy (I thought he was actually a guy I had met much earlier at the same event I met Tony at) and we actually hit it off. Please note: the blog is correct, we were married before the year was out 10 years ago. I am not sure I will be happy if either of my children do this this quickly, but we were both older (I was 26, and Tony was about to turn 28) and it clearly worked for us.
Ironically Tony has to work late tonight so no celebrating.
