Gas shortages…

Well we went to the farm today. We had to pick raspberries and it was COLD!! Then we went to the barn and we got 2 boxes of food as they couldn’t deliver their box shares this week. So that was great for us, Max didn’t even need to get out of the car!

The whole way there and back we kept hearing about gas shortages. Realizing that I have to go down to my doctor (about  1 hour away) on Monday, I decided to fill up my tank just to be safe. Well the first gas station I would go to had no gas. So then I went to another one and it too had no gas. Then I figured out that the gas station that I saw last night that was dark, had no gas. Getting a bit scared, I drove home thinking that this wasn’t good! I saw this little gas station that I could walk to and to my shock they had gas!! I wasn’t sure about the quality so I came home and asked Tony his opinion. He said we needed to get gas where we could get it so I went back and filled up the van then came back home and filled up the car as well (silly Tony didn’t fill up before the storm). So now both cars are filled and I am not driving anymore unless I have to (for church or doctor or to farm).

It is just one thing after another!

By the way, I didn’t continue my train of thought about  the accident from my previous post. We saw the accident right after it happened, then we saw it again as they were cleaning up, and by the time went home it was cleaned up and gone! So at least people are prompt with all of the confusion!
