Well we all slept through the night. Well some of us are still sleeping as I am the only one really awake right now. We have power, and it sounds like there is a storm outside. The wind gusts are getting stronger, but honestly this isn’t anything we have not seen before. The rain doesn’t seem to be coming down but I know that is just to the south of us.
I am a little nervous about driving to my doctor but not overly so. I am just worried about going over the one bridge over water. Other then that I think it shouldn’t be bad. I had considered putting Max’s seat in the Camry as there would be less wind resistance, but then I thought if after I got home we had an emergency and needed to flee our house, getting the seat back in the van would be a nightmare. It is easy to instal in the Camry, but not so easy to install in the van, especially under less then ideal weather!
I really wish I could take video of what I am seeing now, but sadly the camera phone takes really bad night time video. I even tried last night when the motion lights came on and all it was was darkness. It seemed clear as day to my eyes… I guess video has a long ways to go before it works like the human eye in a phone.
Well I guess I should think about breakfast. If I eat now, maybe when the sun wakes up I can take a bit of video to post. Oh and I think the rain has found us now. I hear it hitting the window.
