The box is here!!! (What is inside the box, Calvert K)

And boy is there a lot of stuff in it!!

We got his Kindergarden package, and a reference package number 1. This is for his age. So they arrived at the same time but in 2 packages.

First the reference package:

As you can see it has a picture dictionary and a lesson plan.
Now to the BIG BOX.
Step 1…

 Step 2…

Okay here it is in segments because there is a lot to it!!
This is 2 packages of manilla paper
2 packages of various construction paper
2 packages of index cards
some plain white paper
some larger plain white paper
some heavier larger white paper (don’t you just love my descriptions??)

 Now the nitty gritty!
From top left:
Lesson manuel A
Lesson manuel B
Teachers Aides
Activity Pages
Calvert Math Practice workbook
(next row)
Poems and Prose
Calvert Math manuel
Letters and words
Calvert Math text book
Phonics Library

 Now some fun!
In the school box was:
Crayons
pipe cleaners
water color paints
brass fasteners
2 pencils
Pencil sharpener
and a ruler (a additional ruler was in the big box)
To the right of all that is a stack of about 20 phonics books. These have titles such as “The Pig” and so on. That is the stack to the right of the school box.
We have cusinare (spelling could be off) rods
Modeling clay
Magnet strips
yarn
Word and picture book
Practice book A and B
finally 2 music break cd’s

This next part I think is worth the price of the WHOLE program. Books are expensive and the fact that this all comes with this package is amazing!
This is all 30 read aloud books that come with this. I don’t have all the titles handy (though I am sure I could type them out if someone really wanted to know). However 20 of the books are a story, then a lesson in science, social studies and so on. The other 10 are just for enjoyment.

If I know Max he is going to LOVE this part. Especially as you can see, there are 2 books that feature cars and trucks!

Well there you have it. I have to start reading the stuff I need to read before we get started. We are hoping to start on Monday while Tony is home from work. Max should have a grand old time!
