Quick post today…

I was planning on updating here when I got back today but because I have shocking news, I am typing here sooner rather then later.

Today I went to my oncologist for my pre-baby clearance. Everything is fine, I am slightly anemic (not sure why as I had steak last night but oh well) but I am good to go. Anyway, in passing I tell her that I am not immune to chicken pox anymore and that I opted to cycle rather then get the vaccine. She looks a bit frazzled and quickly says that she DOES NOT want me to EVER get that vaccine! She says that people with a history of lymphoma have DIED from it! They don’t know why but there is a clinical trial going on right now to figure out if it is at all safe to give to people with a history of lymphoma!

So yet again my desire to have a baby has saved my life!
