Our haul for today and other things…

Max waiting for the tractor….
Max on the tractor…
Max eating snow peas (fresh!!)…
What we got today:
1 quart, 1 pint of Strawberries
1/2 pint of snow peas
4 heads of lettuce
5 garlic scapes
a bunch of beets
a bunch of radishes (Max we found out loves these)
3 heads of broccoli (small but still there)
2 heads of boc choy
2 summer squashes
We don’t have a big basket to carry everything in, so our strawberries got a bit squished. So today I ran out and got this basket! If folds all down flat and should be really nice for shopping!
Well my appointments this week went well. The nutritionist wants me to eat every 2.5 to 3 hours which I don’t do, but I assured her that I would try. She was also a bit terrified by the fact that Tony and I cook with lard. It makes everything taste so good! However I didn’t gain weight so she figures what I am doing is working. Ha ha!
I also had another appointment yesterday. My lining didn’t change and my doctor wants me to go off of all hormones tomorrow. So that will be good. I feel like I have been dragging for the last few days on progesterone. I forgot all about this… or perhaps it was just easier when I didn’t have to also chase after a preschooler. I will go back to my doctor for another volume scan on cycle day 3… which my guess will be next week sometime.
Max is doing very well with schooling. He knows by sight his letters for the most part. However counting isn’t his strong suit. We are really having to focus on that. He knows it, but he doesn’t want us to know that he knows if that makes sense. I am hoping is over this hump soon. He is sleeping well on his own at night at least. So I guess we can’t have everything!
Our herb garden is growing very well. I will have to take photos of it this week. We were also able to get about 1/2 cup of blueberries from our lone blueberry bush that is producing blueberries. There are still a lot more on there too. Our St. John’s Wart is blooming out front too. I have a photo of that from last weekend but I think it looks better now.
This weekend we are getting mega eggs from our dairy farmer. These have been known to have 3 yolks in them! They are from a chicken and I can’t wait to see them. Again I will take a photo of that too!
Well that is all that I know for now!
