I made these today because I was reminded of them from a message on a message board.
I got the recipe here: http://christianmommyblogger.com/aussie-bites-recipe/ The recipe isn’t 100% perfect for our diet. Ideally the oats should be soaked and dried (makes them easier to digest) and I didn’t do that. However it tastes good!
Here are my dry ingredients. I used half cup raisins (gold and black combined) and half cup chopped apricots. I also used spelt flour.

My melted butter with honey and coconut oil! Don’t you just love my little cast iron caldron?

My dough! Notice I use a mini scooper! This is the best investment for a kitchen, I use this for everything from cookies to pancakes!
The uncooked bites in the mini muffin tin!
The finished product! Yum!
I would call the final product the cross between a cookie and a muffin. They are not really sweet but honestly they are perfect for us.
