Max, Tony and Fenway with Max’s cars.
We have been giving Max a Matchbox car for when he has been exceptionally good. It is also an added ensentive to try to get him away from other cars or trucks when we are out and about. So far it has worked well. His latest cars were a Class C motor home toy hauler, and today he got a Audi that is model year 2007. We are thinking that for his birthday it will involve more cars but honestly I think what I will do is just make them a bit easier to get for a while. We notice that his newest car is his favorite so I think he would actually enjoy it better to have them spaced out more.
Tony’s job search is still slow going. We are hoping for good news tomorrow reguarding more interviews. Don’t think he will have anything by October 1st but honestly, his last job moved that fast so I shouldn’t be surprised if he does get one by then. We have resolved ourselves to the fact that we are likely not going to move. So oddly that brings us a bit of comfort.
We are also still in the rental van as we haven’t got Maya back. They called us on Thursday and told us they were having issues with the alignment but didn’t think it was the frame. So they said that if they needed a part it wouldn’t come till Monday. So now I am just hoping that whatever this part is that they needed, fixes the problem. I have told Tony that if the frame is damaged and can be repaired I will want to sell the van and just live with just one car for a while till we can get back on our feet. I don’t want to drive around my son in a car that has been compromised. And yes this is coming from the person that purchased 2 car seats this month just to make sure Max was safe, so it is a HUGE issue for me. So hopefully we will hear good news tomorrow about the van.
