Well Tony got to San Diego alright. He said it was 69 degrees (shocking, I was expecting warmer) and it is brown on all the mountains that he can see. However he can also see the ocean at times. Makes me wonder if people just like to face the west out there. Ha ha! Oh and he said he could smell the money. This comes from a conversation I had with him when we were driving through Connecticut. I told him that if you drive down Rt. 7 from Danbury to Norwalk you pass through all these little towns and you can roll down the window and smell the money. It smells sweet through there. He is at a dinner while I am writing this. Tomorrow is his interview and honestly I don’t expect to hear much from him until he calls me up to come and get him EARLY Saturday morning.
Max has been doing well as has the dog today. So that is good.
I also met with the realtor who told me things we should do to sell the house for as much as possible. So next week we will have to work on that.
Well that is all for now!

Hi Jennifer,
As you know, I live in San Diego! We call our hill “golden” not brown!!:) Because Tony is near the water, it is definitely cooler. We live a few miles inland and it is always warmer here in the summer and often cooler in the winter. San Diego is reclaimed desert so that is why we are so “golden” in the summer. If we have decent winter rains, the early spring is very green. We recognize our “seasons” more by when the flowers and trees bloom and when the rains come. We do have some liquid amber trees in our yard that do change colors in Oct./Nov. We can often enjoy a day on the beach on New Year’s day although the water is VERY cold then and so are the nights. Where we live we actually get a few freezes during the winter nights but it usually warms up to at least 70ish during the day. It is nice not to have to shovel snow!
Anyway, I am wishing Tony the very best in his interview tomorrow and if you end up in San Diego, I hope we will get to meet.
Take care, Rowena
