Well what now…

Ha Ha! And yes Max is alive and well. Ha ha!

Last night we found out that the one position that seemed interested in Tony locally, doesn’t want to hire him. I guess there was some internal struggle in the company or something and it boils down to that wasn’t a good place for him to work.

So this means that it is VERY likely we are going to have to sell our house and move. We are not really thrilled about this but we have developed an annoying habit of liking to eat so we will go where we can continue to do that. Ha ha!

A week from tomorrow (Friday) Tony will  have a site visit interview with a company in San Diego, and the following Monday, he will have a site visit interview with a company in Indianapolis. He will basically be home for 36 hours before heading back out again. We are hopeful that one of these will pan out.

In the meanwhile I have been going through everything we have stored and figuring out what we can get rid of. I am thinking that with a move we might as well get rid of our “dead weight” we have around the house. I am actually seriously considering getting rid of our couch, chairs in living room, and our dining room set as well. None of which I am attached to and I would like to get new stuff anyway. If we are moving that is a good excuse to get rid of some of this and get new. At the very least I am getting rid of the sofa as it wouldn’t survive another move.

It is funny, when I started this photo everyday thing, I didn’t think that our year would be that exciting. Boy, goes to show you to be careful what you wish for!

  1. How is the economy in your area for selling houses? I know you haven’t lived there long. Do you think it would sell quickly? Has Tony looked back in the Boston area again?

I hope he is able to find work soon. Its such a stressful time for sure.

    Good morning Jennifer.

Sorry to hear about the local job but will be praying that things go well for Tony in San Diego and Indianapolis. Of course, I highly recommend the weather here in SD especially in the winter!! Imagine that Max would love the beaches.

Love that picture of Max in the chair. He is OUT!

Hope you all have a great day.

  3. San Diego would get you back to the West coast which is much closer to “home” in Oregon though. Correct? I love reading your blog and keeping up with your family. Am praying that the right job comes along for your family.
