The basement….

Did you ever do a lot of work and then take a picture of what you did and have it not do it justice? Well if so then you know exactly how I feel right now. Ha ha!
The last 2 days I have went down to the basement and worked on cleaning it up. I want room down there so Max can play and I don’t have to worry about things as much. Honestly 3 days ago walking down there was a challenge. Now we have room to move around and such.

This is a view of the area I am hoping to make into “Max’s area”. We hope to move the crib and the freezer eventually.

This is, for the most part all the trash that we are taking out of the basement. Some of this will go out next trash day (Thursday) and the rest of it will go out with the next recycling day (a week from Thursday). That should free up a ton more room.

This view here was a sea of boxes and clutter. We still have a bit more to remove but it is definitely better then it was. On the drying rack is the fabric parts to the stroller. I figured it was time to clean them for the next kid to get some use out of them.

What I didn’t photograph is where all the “clutter” went. It is mostly up but we do have a few piles of stuff. We also have a few boxes of donations of food that we need to donate. This we are waiting until after Tony finds work so we know for a fact that we will not need it.

Like I said, we have done quite a bit even if it doesn’t look like it. We are getting there, though we are trying to do this at no cost and we are starting to hit that wall where it will start costing us for a shelf and a plumber to fix some pumping so we can move things around.

Tony has a phone interview tomorrow so hopefully that will go well and Max will not be loud at that time.
