Today I made Max’s favorite breakfast, pancakes and eggs. If you ask Max what he wants for breakfast he always says this.
Anyway, I had 1 egg left from our farmer, and then I purchased a dozen eggs from Whole Foods. The one egg from the farmer is pastured. That is to say that the chickens are free to do what chickens do and they have their nests that are movable so they are always near fresh grounds. The eggs we got from Whole Foods say that they are pastured. All the eggs were brown shelled and said that they were extra large.
It is rather clear to see the one egg from the farmer and the eggs from Whole Foods. If you need a hint, the pastured egg from our farmer is the orange yolk that is large in the upper right. This really makes me think of what we are sacrificing as a society by not having orange egg yolks anymore. Look at the yolk in the bottom left, it is nearly white! There is a serious riddle for you! Now I will say that I know that orange yolks I know are seasonal. So the yolk will not always be that color depending on when the egg was laid but it is a good contrast.
In other news Tony has a phone interview with another company on Thursday. The first company that Tony phone interviewed with (that he has had 3 phone interviews with) has finally decided to bring him in for an interview. We don’t know when this will take place but we should have more information tomorrow. Monday night, Tony will go for his first site visit interview. So hopefully that will go well.
That is all for now!
