Today Max and I spent quite a bit of time cleaning. So not much else was done. I did make a lovely onion soup though that tasted great after we added a bit of salt (I realized that there was no salt in the homemade chicken stock or in the butter in the recipe).
These are the same photos but I can’t put the one with the words up on the banner so the wordless one has to be the photo of the day. As you can see we have come a bit since we last had our photo of our refrigerator found here. We now have many other things that come with our new diet.
We also heard from our meat farmer today. We should be getting our side of beef in the next week or so. It is being dry aged right now and will be cut up on Monday or Tuesday. We then can get it next weekend or the following weekend. We will likely be getting some chickens at the same time (dead and processed, we are not going to get the live kind of birds).
