Today Tony and I dug a hole. Well more specifically, Tony dug a hole and I figured out what to do with the extra soil. Ha ha! We needed to create a foundation for our new shed. So Tony dug down 4 inches and put 4 by 4’s around the perimeter of the area where the shed is going to go. The whole thing is 1 foot bigger then the shed on all sides. Well this 4 inches of soil needed to have something done with it. So we took it and filled in low spots in the yard. It really is funny because I have been wanting to fill the low spots in the yard since we moved here but we never did it. Today, we had no choice. So our yard looks like a bit of a war zone a the moment. It will be a challenge to keep Max and Fenway out of the dirt and not digging in it till we finally get grass. Hopefully it will grow quickly. Needless to say, we are both tired from this endeavorer. Tomorrow we are going to go and get rocks (3 tons) to fill the hole. Then Tony will need to set out in taking down the shed. Something that no one is sad to see go. Ha ha!
