Today was Tony’s 36th birthday. So I made him this. I call it Death by Chocolate in a Black Forest. It is a recipe that I found here. Only I took and added a second can of cherries and divided them between the center and top. I also made the glaze but I thought it was too thick, so I used it to fill the gaps on the side between the layers. Then I took some milk chocolate chips and melted them with half and half and a bit of powdered sugar to make a thinner glaze. If that wasn’t enough I served it with chocolate whipped cream! Tony and Max both loved it!

We also went to Lowes today to get the things that Tony will need in the coming weeks for our yard. This is our van all packed up.
We have:
4 – 4 by 4 by 10 feet long
4 – 4 by 4 by 6 feet long
Wheel Barrow
Soil tamper
Flat shovel (used for clearing grass)
Flat scoop shovel (used for light duty picking up)
Bucket with lid
16 rebar pieces (will use as anchors for timbers)
and some cable connectors (TV connection is loose).
