We are alright and doing well. We went on our vacation to see my mother and came back and everything is going good.
The week prior to the trip I was trying to finish some sewing. I will take photos and post them with the next message.
We were gone all of last week and we had a lot of fun. It was nice to see my grandmother down there as well. I was even able to get the 4 generation photo that I was really wanting. I will post them also with my next message. We also made Lefse. I will create a page just for this with my next posting. Lefse is huge in my family and it was nice to make some. It also made me realize that it really isn’t that hard and I should make it more often.
We traveled there all in one day and didn’t stop for our usual night rest in the middle. It actually worked out well. We left at 3 am and got there at 10 pm. The way back we left at 3 but got home just before 11 pm (traffic is worse up here then it is down there).
Oh and I was able to get to know my new sister-in-law on Thanksgiving. That was nice. I know I have 3 sisters but 2 of them are REALLY closer in age to Max then to me and the other doesn’t talk to me. So it is nice to have something in common with one.
