Well I wanted to post photos the next time I posted something but sadly I am now having trouble with my little netbook computer so I have to use the big computer now, while my little computer is being sent away to get fixed. So unless I start getting adventurous, no photo’s for a while.
Max today did something quite funny. We were in church and the end came and he was in the back with Tony. So Pastor said “Go in peace. Serve the Lord.” So Max walked outside. Ha ha!
We have noticed that it is quite funny to have Max out and about. The other day I was at a fabric store and the subject of Fenway came up. Max started to look around for “Fe” and was a bit surprised he couldn’t find him.
Max is loving to play with trains now. Most nights Tony takes Max upstairs to his room, where most of his toys are (Fenway isn’t allowed up there but in his crate for night time) and insist to play with trains. I think the next train trip will be fun for him… though we will not be taking it for quite a few years (my hope is summer of 2013).
We have decided to get insulation blown in. However it is turning into a big issue. We live in New Jersey (if you hadn’t figured it out by now) and this state is big time in regulations. So we hire someone who will be putting R-15 in our walls, and R-49 in our attic (huge differance then our R-0 in the walls and R-1 in the attic now). And Tony tells me to contact the town to make sure we don’t need a permit. I think this is crazy but I do so anyway.
To my shock you do need a permit! Not only that, but it isn’t a permit that is just a simple one, it is a permit where they have to approve it (that takes days) and have to “inspect” it when it is done. How this works in the walls is beyond me. So now insted of getting this done tomorrow, I am going to be waiting for this permit… which hopefully will come through this week.
However it isn’t all bad. We are suppose to be having a 90 degree day tomorrow with high humidity. Max, Fenway and I have to be out of the house when this is being done so we were going to go in the back yard. So it isn’t an ideal day for that. Hopefully the day will be better when this actually gets done.
That is about all I have for now. Talk to you soon (Wednesday at the latest since that is my next doctor appointment).
