Today I went for what I thought would be my first dose of radiation. Sadly all that happened is I waited in the waiting room for 2 hours (sitting across from someone who kept spitting in a cup… yeah that wasn’t good), then I go back there for about 10 minutes and then they send me home and tell me to come back in the morning. I got what I assume was 2 x-rays and them telling me that everything lined up right and then that was it. I didn’t see the doctor or anything.
I don’t know much right now but I do know that I will be starting tomorrow and I will be meeting with my radiation oncologist once a week. Other then that, anyone here knows more then I do at the moment.
