Hello

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. Last week I was busy with feeling good for a change. That continued till Monday. Then Tuesday I went in for Chemo and yesterday Max was a bit of a pill. That brings me to today.

Round 3 went well. Same as normal. I found out that my one huge mass of lymph nodes has reduced by about 50 percent and is now several smaller (yet enlarged) lymph nodes. My doctor said that if they are not gone by after round 4 then she will have to talk to me about either surgery or radiation after chemo. So that wouldn’t be fun. Neither on of these is really wanted since I want to have more children and both of them can cause adhesions which would potentially be bad for an expanding uterus.

My task for this time between chemo’s is to get another echocardogram done. I have yet to schedule it but I think I will schedule it for about a week from now. Then after the next round I will have the CT scan again. I think I will schedule that as late in that cycle as possible so that my doctor can see what round 4 has done.

I was able to go to prayer group last week and they insisted on taking turns taking me into the doctor for Chemo so that Tony can be home with me if I am having bad days (or I get dehydrated again). That was an unexpected blessing for us.

Max is doing well. He loves being outside but sadly it has been so cold that I can’t really spend that much time out there. He is talking more and more and I believe he finally has all of the teeth that he should have till he gets his 2 year molars. He has also started throwing tantrums which for Tony and I can be quite funny. Tony also got Max dancing last night. Max loves to dance. Clearly he must know that his parents met this way.

Well sorry for no photos this time. I still haven’t got everything done that I want to so that I can easily update with photo’s on my new computer.

If you could spare a prayer I am sure my uncle (my father’s brother) can use it. He just got diagnosed with prostate cancer last week.
