I am finally starting to feel normal again. I have a weird sense of taste but other then that I am normal. To give you an idea of how strange my taste is, I had apple cider this morning and thought it tasted minty.
All told I would say that Chemo made it so I had mouth (throat) sores and jaw pain, and that was the worst side effect for me as it made it hard to eat and get down the prednisone that I need for the chemo.
Today I have so far seen the interventional radiologist about the port. All is normal there. And I just had my blood drawn out of my port. That to me was actually kind of cool. I have had blood draws many a time and this was soo neat! No pain really (small needle prick) and the draw was painless. It was great! I am seriously considering that this may be a handy thing to have when I do the FET in a year. They draw your blood all the time and this normally doesn’t even need a bandaid! (Today I needed one but my skin isn’t healed yet.
They have Internet access in the center so that is how I am able to write this message. I will post more later after I meet with the oncologist.

Jenn, glad to hear chemo isn’t too bad and that you’re staying positive. Max is so funny, can’t wait until you’re better and we can see him again at prayer group. Until then, let me know if i can help in any way and as always i keep you in my prayers. Eileen T.
