Max and I didn’t leave the house today. We insted worked on his cow costume for this weekend’s Christmas show that he is a cow for. Essentually I am making him a sleeper and adding a bit of stuff to make it look more like a cow. I just need to put feet in the sleeper and it will be done.
I haven’t heard from the oncologist. And I doubt I will hear from her tomorrow since I will be seeing her the next day. So I guess we will all have to wait till Friday for the diagnosis.
Tomorrow I have a nutritionist appointment in the late morning. Max is able to come with me to this so it shouldn’t be too bad. It is at my RE’s office but I called them up today and asked them to let her know that I have cancer and my questions will be pertaining to that. I don’t want to walk in there and blindside her with stuff that she didn’t expect.
I was able to call my insurance company today and they told me that I didn’t need to get a second opinion to get treatment. According to the American Cancer Society’s website I guess some insurance companies do require this. However if I want a second opinion they will cover it and if that opinion doesn’t match the first opinion they will even cover a third opinion. So that is nice. I also found out that the place that I would go for a second opinion is out of area but in network. Since I live in New Jersey I figured New York City would be in area but I guess not. Haha! So I would need to do a bit of red tape to go there from an insurance standpoint.
Max is being more clingy then normal the last few days. We are thinking he knows something is up so he needs more attention.
