Larry day 4… and a bit about Max as well

Well I had my CT scan yesterday. I went to drop Max off then realized that I forgot the script for the CT scan at home so I had to race home to get it then go to my appointment. The scan itself took maybe 5 minutes. I was in and out in no time. Max did well without me so that is good.

I am still doing relatively well. I don’t like this waking up at 3 or 4 am everyday but I guess if that is the only problem I am having it is good. I have been hoping that the oncologist will call me everyday now. So whenever the phone (home) rings I jump and figure it must be her. Hopefully it will be today.

Today Max and I are going to Mass (it is a holy day of obligation) then to a prayer group. We should be back in the afternoon so we can take a nap and then have me work on his (now) cow costume for the Christmas production this Sunday in the Lutheran Church.

As for Max. Well I didn’t mention it (I don’t think) that Max got 2 molars in early last month. So he has all 4 of those now. He just last week got his “fang” teeth (both on the same day) on top too.

He is enjoying running around and reading. Lately he has been very snuggly too. He is talking up a storm too. This weekend he was sitting on the couch us and I asked him if I could call him “sweet pea” (the name I normally call him). He said “Noh Maa” So I asked him again and he said “Noh Maa sss”. So then I asked if he was trying to say Max. He said “yeah it tuff”. Later I asked if I could call him Maximillian and he said yeah. I know this may be hard to believe but I will try to get it on tape when I can. He constantly says “sorry” at appropriate times too.

Max also loves to dance! I guess it should be no surprise considering how Tony and I met (see right). I actually saw him dancing to the rhythem of the sewing machine yesterday. That was quite funny.

Max is also turning into his father’s son. Tony is very curious… always has been. And last night I was laying in the papasan chair and Max came over and was trying to figure out how to undo the rattan of the chair. Thankfully it isn’t easy to do but he was trying!

Max’s Raincoat (this is a poncho that is lined with flannel and has a water proof exterior. It is designed to be able to be used in the carseat without adding bulk.)
