These were all taken on Friday:

This picture I had to take. When I was young we got cable. Well my favorite channel was the weather channel because “I liked to watch the maps” as I would tell people. I have noticed that if I have Max in the jumperoo and I turn on the weather channel he watches the maps… I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

We had a HOT weekend with highs in the 90’s. Max did better then I would have thought. He hated the hot weather when he was inside me last summer. I guess it is better when he can see that it normally isn’t that hot. Ha ha! On Sunday we took out a little pool and filled it up a bit and had family pool time. The water was FREEZING but it was still nice.

Monday we had music class and Max did a bit better then he has been. He sang just a bit with the resting tones (last note of a song). He also was moving a bit to the beat. Both of these occurrences though were fleeting.

Tuesday he had fun with the ladies in the prayer group. He loves all the attention they give him and how they all think he is SO cute. That night I called a contractor and told them that we liked their quote for our driveway replacement. To my surprise they were able to start the next day! So…

Wednesday we had our driveway ripped out. Max did a good job of sleeping through all the noise (much to my surprise). It was fun for me to watch what was going on though I don’t think Max got that much enjoyment out of it.

Halfway through the day we found out why we had to replace the driveway. (We wanted water to go away from the house and it wasn’t.) We had this as soil (this isn’t a doctored video, this is real and trust me I thought it was fake when I was seeing it with my own eyes. Also for those of you that know that this could be caused by earthquakes, know that we are not in an earthquake zone really. There is a fault line about 40 miles from here but it hasn’t been active in a VERY long time.)

Today the contractors came back and poured the concrete and finished it off. They will be back tomorrow to get the concrete forms. We will not be able to drive on our driveway though till June. So it will just look pretty till then.
