These two videos were taken today back to back (I can’t upload videos that are too long therefore the 2 of them).
Max is still doing well as you can see. This picture I took early last month but I forgot to post it when I updated the blog the other day. It was included in our holiday letter.
Some questions that were asked by Carolynn in Australia …
The jumperoo that Max is sitting in the prior post doesn’t move around or anything. I imagine that once he gets bigger though it may move slightly when he really starts jumping, however it isn’t intendted to be like a walker.
I have never heard of a magnetic paint but I think I would like to paint a mural in there. I wanted to paint one in Max’s current room but then I realized how small his room was and that with the next child(ren) we will be switching rooms with him so I didn’t really see the point. The room Max is currently in is a light blue… I will have to look and see if there is another light blue that I like. I know Tony would prefer blue in there rather then green. Ha ha!
The weather around here has been WINDY. We do have some rain and some snow (nothing to measurable) and some ice (normally melted by mid day). However most days it is sunny. I would say that the highs of the day for the last few weeks have been between 36*F (about 2*C) to about 65*F (about 18*C). The lows have been between about 16*F (about -9*C) to about 36*F (about 2*C). However we have had some unseasonably warm days recently. We didn’t get any of that snow that hit New York recently. It did snow here but it was mostly rain. I am actually hoping it will snow here soon because I would like to see if we need more insulation in our attic. Ha ha! The concept of it being soooo hot in January seems so strange to me. I remember as a kid it getting up to the 80*F (about 27*C) in February but that was in Washington State and was VERY rare.
Well that is all I have for now! Thank you for taking the time to read this!
