Maximillian’s Doctor visit…

Well Max had a good Thanksgiving. He was helping Tony and I to do some home improvement projects. We removed wall paper/plaster from a wall in the living room and then Tony primed and painted it. Then we went into the kitchen and thought about removing the glue left over from taking off the wall paper in there. Instead though we just patched the wall where needed and put an oil based (no smell) primer on it. Tony will paint the kitchen this weekend. As you can imagine that was a very tiring weekend for everyone!

Max did well at his doctor appointment yesterday. He is now 0.644m (2 feet 1.35 inches) with a weight of 5.28 KG (11 lbs. 10.2 oz). So he is very tall (above 95th percentile) and rather thin (just under the 50th percentile).

He did well with his injections and didn’t cry as much as I feared. He was STARVING though by the time he got the injections though. I thought for sure I would have to feed him once we got to the car but he fell asleep so I put him in the car and fed him when we got home.

Last night however he was clearly in pain from the injections. I could tell that every time he moved he was sore! It was awful because he couldn’t figure out why every time he kicked he would be in pain. Finally I found out how much Tylenol to give him and gave that to him. He slept well last night (8pm till about 1:30am) and I haven’t had to give him Tylenol other then that once.

Well Max is getting bored and wants some mommy time so I will end it with that. I will try to post more later!
