My maternal grandfather just died today. My paternal grandfather died about 4 years ago. My grandfather you might remember got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer right before Max was born. My grandfather was surrounded by his family when he passed. He was 84 years old and married to my grandmother for 62 and 11/12 years.

I am so sorry Jenn. Take care. I think it is wonderful that they were married for almost 63 years. My inlaws were married for 65 when Wally passed away. I wish the same longevity in your marrige. Since we come from a family with divorce, its very nice to see a marriage that lasts so long. Just remember your grampa is out of pain now and sitting beside the Lord. How wonderful for him!!
