13 weeks according to junior…

Hello everyone!

Well I just wanted to write a quick update on our appointment last night.

It went well. It was sad to think that I will not be going there (other then to see the nutritionist) for almost 2 years now if all goes well.

We talked about how the pregnancy is going, and it seems to be going good.

Then we talked about babies E, G, H, I and J. We said that if all goes to plan we will come back in January 2010 to get them. I figure that I want to breastfeed junior for at least a year and then that will be enough time to wean junior and get my body back in shape for another pregnancy.

We also talked briefly about what name we will have for junior. For those who don’t know junior will either be Alyzabeth Rachael or Maximillian Andrew. I think I confused the doctor with the spelling of Alyzabeth but for me it is important to make her name not be that close to Emily (Emily Elisabeth is in Clifford The Big Red Dog stories).

Oh and we also talked about whether I should see my peri this time or not. I am of the mind set that maybe I shouldn’t bother him since this is suppose to be a “normal” pregnancy. However my RE thinks I should at least touch base with him since we have been through so much loss before. I am going to mention it today to the OB just to make sure I don’t step on toes by contacting him.

Other then that I am looking forward to my appointment with the OB today. I am sure I am going to get tons of blood taken from me (since they always assume that you got HIV and Syphilis since your last pregnancy) and I am hoping that I can convince them that I don’t need a pap till my c-section post op. I don’t need another one of those while I am pregnant again! It isn’t like I am a part of an “at risk” group either since to my knowledge none of my family has had a abnormal pap.

The RE did weigh me and take my blood pressure yesterday. I am almost 150 lbs now. So I know those of you that know me in person, this is way big for me! That means that I have gained about 12 lbs since getting pregnant. Shows you what I will do if they tell me I need to gain weight! Ha ha! My blood pressure was normal as always.

That is about all I have for now. I will see if I can get Tony to take a picture of my belly today since I know at least my mother wants to see the big basketball now. Ha ha!
