21 Days past Egg Retrival…

Hello Everyone!

Well nothing was able to be seen on US. And the US tech said that she thought that my numbers were in the range of singleton. Then I went in to see the doctor. Now I don’t know about all of you but all of my doctors that I have now are extremely laid back. Only things that truly are concerning do they get upset. And even then it is only if that is the only option.

So I go in and see my RE who says to me “We didn’t see anything. I think that means that you are carrying more then one. We put back two right?” Me “Yes.” Him “Well based on your beta and your ultrasound I would say your carrying more then one.”

Logic behind his words:
He says at 1300 – 1400 (which is what my beta should be at) that we should be able to see a sack by now if it were a singleton. It is possible but not likely that I have an ectopic, however based on my history I more then likely have more then one. So each baby is producing roughly 650 in beta. That would be too little to see on ultrasound so therefore the lack of anything on the ultrasound.

Now you guys know me. I was pregnant with triplets last year. Not much can shock me now. But kudos’s to my doctor! He shocked me!

So here is the plan for me, I will go and get bloodwork done in Massachusetts on Tuesday. Then I will go back for another ultrasound and beta/progesterone check next Friday. So hopefully we will see little Max and Lizzie next week. (I have been referring to IVF and all as “The Road to Alzyabeth and Maximillian.”)

Here is my beta results today.
Reminder:
Monday – Beta 434 Progesterone 132
Wednesday – Beta 761 Progesterone 199
Today (Friday taken 2 -3 hours later) – Beta 1868 and progesterone 174

I am starting to think that my RE is right and I have twins! I just have to say Praise Be to God!!!!!

Tony and I will be away for a few days on a planned business trip. We will be back on Thursday (starting tomorrow) so I hope all is well with everyone. If I find out any information I will post it when I get back (I have a blood test while we are gone.)

I should also ask everyone to pray for my father, my step mother and my 5 year old sister. They are all in China today and will be getting my next sister in a few days.

Thank you!
Jennifer

Yes, I go for Praise God whether you have one or two babies but, of course, I am also hoping for two! It all sounds confusing to me but like very good news. Now we can start praying that you continue to feel good for the next several months.

I am excited to hear that your dad and family are finally in China to pick up Saphron. I hope you dad will post on the web site again. Will he let you give out the weblink again?

Hope you have a nice trip and will look forward to hearing from you next week.

    Take care, Rowena
