Emily lost a little bit of weight last night – only 10 grams, so she now weighs in at 1620 grams. This is roughly a third of an ounce and is ~0.5% of her total body weight, so there isn’t any concern. Emily seems to like her steroids. Her settings were reduced three times yesterday. … [Read more…]
Emily now weighs 1630 grams (3lbs, 9 oz). This is an especially impressive feat considering that she had a diaper which weighed 80 grams earlier in the evening. Emily now weighs 1560 grams (3 lbs, 7 oz). After having her breathing tube changed yesterday, she still has an air leak today! It is however, much smaller, but the doctor was quite surprised.
