Schooling

This becomes hard to write on my blog when I can’t even talk about my biggest accomplishment of the day. That was something having to do with Foster baby D. So I guess that is a tale for another day.

I also was able to get Abeka ordered for Nathaniel and set him up. He has a start date of January 21 as that is a Monday and over 2 weeks away (how long they said they needed to get the books to me). It also happens to be Martin Luther King Jr day, but I guess we can talk about that after school.

Surprisingly, they actually set up his whole school year for him! There is an online portal that I can use and that Nathaniel can log in to see his classes (videos). His last day of school is October 15. This is accounting for his birthday off, Max’s birthday off, a tentative vacation in the summer, and the RV show in September. He also gets off all the normal school holidays and the week between Palm Sunday and Easter.

I was also able to talk to them about Max. Max is a horrid speller. I need to do something about it so I am going to try 4th grade spelling from Abeka. What is the worst that can happen?

All told we have a rather good day. Lets see what happens tomorrow!
