Festive eating…

Dress rehearsal for 4th Sunday in Advent services.

We went to a restaurant yesterday that we have been wanting to go to for years now. We pass it nearly everyday. However last night was the first we have stepped foot in it. It was a tavern that has been around since the 1700’s. It was very nice inside. Tony says come the summer we are going to walk to it, that way we can stop and get ice cream when we come back home (it is about half way back). That sounds like a fun day… for the summer. Too cold now!

Tony enjoying a new restaurant that we went to.

Max had Wiener Schnitzel.

Tony had a Southern platter.

Nathaniel had a hot dog and a few fries.

I had fish and chips.

Tony took photos of the boys playing in the snow (suppose to be a dusting but was a bit more) but he forgot to send them to me. So expect more photos tomorrow!

I have figured out my holiday menu. I will be starting it later this week. I have several cookies (international) and a couple candies. I also figured out my Christmas day plans. All the recipes are available online so when I make mine and photograph it I will link to the recipes.
